Many of the street names in San Telmo are names of countries e.g Chile, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela and there are quite a few significant dates e.g 25 de Mayo (The May Revolution) and 9 de Julio (Independence Day). It seems funny to ask where something is and get an answer like (oh yeah that one is on the corner of Chile and Peru)!

excited to follow your travels! Rose xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Rose!
DeleteMe too. It looks cold there. Interesting about the street names...Meanwhile I have decided to keep a register of best places to have Eggs Benedict in Australia. Then when you return we will have the Claire Egg Benedict Test and rank them. That way we will have backups when you are on a mission to have Eggs Benedict for breakfast and won't get disappointed. That is what we call mitigating the risk of Claire settling for sandwiches for breakfast. I think perhaps Lara and Rose should begin to rank EBBs (Eggs Benedict Breakfasts) across The UK now to be prepared for your arrival.
ReplyDeleteGood idea Mum - I think that will be my first meal request from Lara when I get there. I'm sounding a little too obsessed with eggs benedict aren't I? :0
DeleteNothing wrong with an eggs Benedict whim..
ReplyDeleteOh Eggs Benny - best breakfast in the world!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having the time of your life! Love you xx
